Wal-mart in India
Thursday, February 2, 2006 9:27A few weeks ago, Wal-mart filed an application with the Reserve Bank of India to setup an office in Bangalore for market research and business development.

Still a long way to go for Walmart to do anything in India…..but Indian Retailers better watch out!!

Very true. Retail scene is already changing and more seems to be in store. Big Bazaar is attempting something like Wal Mart in marketing… I am not trying to make a comparison, though.
